It's A... (drumroll, please)

BOY!!

*tosses confetti*

Hooray! Hooray!

Confession: I was totally surprised. I was convinced I was carrying a girl. So much for mom's intuition, eh? *snort* I was right with both of my older kids, so I guess my overconfidence derailed me. But no matter, I AM HAPPY! And EXCITED! It's a baby boy! (Now if only I'm good at finding boy names. I already had girl names in mind, but alas! I can't use them. Hmmm...)

Anyway, as promised, we have a WINNER!! I drew out this name from the boy camp list, so

CONGRATS to MARYBK!!!

Email me at writercherie AT gmail DOT com, and let me know which prize you want: a $10 iTunes gift card, OR, a first chapter crit.

As for all of you who participated in my little celebration: THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this special moment with me. Love ya, guys! :)

Well, as 30 Rock tells us, you could always name him Hat! (Bookcase, alas, is really more of a girl's name.)

Or you could go literary: Heathcliff? Fitzwilliam? Haymitch?

Congrats! So excited for you!

Congrats! Boys are fun. A lot of work when they're little, but still fun.

The other nice thing, is that when the doctor says it's going to be a boy, it's a pretty safe bet that the gender won't surprise you when the baby is born.

Congrats on your precious little boy! I love my little guys, they keep me sane in a sea of teenage girls. ;)

Hey! I was in the right camp! I guess the odds weren't that bad :P. So YAY! Congratulations! I was wrong about my second--was convinced it was a boy. Like you, I had all these boy names ready, but no girl names! You'll come up with a good boy name, I'm sure! And congrats to Marybk!
